Associate Professor, Department of International Economics and Trade

Wu Shimei is currently an Associate Professor at the Department of Economics and Trade, School of Economics and Trade, Hunan University. She received a Ph.D. in Economics from Renmin University of China in June 2020. Her research interests lie in Energy Demand Management, Energy Transition Analysis and Inequality Issues at the micro level and the Relationship between Climate Change, Energy Consumption and Economic Activities at the macro level. She participated in multiple National Natural Science Foundation projects. She has published several papers in well-known domestic and foreign journals such as Chinese Social Sciences, Nature Energy, Field Methods, etc.
