Professor, Department of International Economics and Trade
Professor Zhu Shujin holding Ph.D. in Economics, received his Postdoctoral Degree from Chinese Academy of Social Sciences in March 2010. He is Senior Research Scholar of Department of Economics and Management, Boston College, USA. His main research interests include International Trade, World Economics and Quantitative Economics. Professor Zhu has published 3 monographs and over 80 papers in academic Journals, including Applied Economics, World Development, China Economic Review, China Industrial Economics (in Chinese), Journal of Financial Research (in Chinese), China Soft Science (in Chinese), Journal of World Economy (in Chinese), Statistical Research (in Chinese) etc.
Professor Zhu is actively involved in many leading research institutions and professional organizations. He is Secretary of the CPC of the School of Economics and Trade; Member of the Degree Evaluation Committee of Hunan University; Member of the Teaching Committee; Executive Director of China-Australia Economic Policy Research Center; Director of China World Economics Association; Executive director of Hunan Economic Association; Peer review experts such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Doctoral and Master's thesis of the Degree Center of the Ministry of Education, the Changjiang Scholars Award Program. He also serves as an anonymous reviewer for China Economic Review, Climate Policy, China Social Science (in Chinese), Management World (in Chinese), and Finance Research (in Chinese), China Industrial Economics (in Chinese) etc.
