Professor, Department of International Economics and Trade

Xie Rui is currently Professor and Director of the Department of International Economics and Trade, School of Economics and Trade, Hunan University. He received postdoctoral degree from School of Business, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and Institute of Quantitative of Technical Economics, Chinese Academy of Social Scieneces in October 2016 and June 2014 respectively; earned his Ph.D. in Economics (2005) from Hunan University. Professor Xie is mainly engaged in International Trade and Resource Environmental Economics, and has published over 60 papers in World Economy, Energy Economics, Spatial Economic Analysis, Energy, Structural Change and Economic Dynamics, Applied Energy, Energy policy, Journal of Quantitative & Technical Economics (in Chinese) etc.

Professor Xie has been the leader or key member of several research projects funded by National Natural Science Foundation,  National Social Science Fund, Postdoctoral Fund and China Postdoctoral special Foundation etc.
