Professor, Department of International Economics and Trade
Wang Lafang is currently Professor at Department of International Economics and Trade, School of Economics and Trade, Hunan University. She received her Ph.D. in Economics from Hunan University in June 2008 and postdoctoral degree from School of Public Policy and Management, Tsinghua University in November 2010. And she has been a visiting scholar in University of Western Australia. Professor Wang’s research interests are in Industrial Development, Environmental Protection and Global Value Chain. She has published over 30 papers in Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of Environmental Management, Applied Economics, Empirical Economics, Asian Economic Journal, China Soft Science Magzine (in Chinese) etc.
Professor Wang Lafang presided over 13 national, provincial and ministerial projects including the National Natural Science Foundation of China. She was also awarded as Outstanding Teachers of Hunan University (2020) and Third Prize of the 6th University Scientific Research Outstanding Achievement Award.
