1. Basic information on international students in the School of Economics and Trade (as of Dec. 30, 2020)

At present, there are 171 international students enrolled, including 43 international students in Chinese classes and 128 graduate students in the study in China program, including 60 master students and 67 doctoral students and 1 advanced student from more than 50 countries, including Germany, Spain, Chile, India, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Pakistan, Madagascar, Cameroon, Nigeria, Uzbekistan, Sierra Leone, Zambia, Mongolia, Vietnam, Jamaica, South Africa, and Romania. The number of new international students enrolled in English classes has been increasing every year since its inception. Up to now, 106 international students with master's degrees and 18 international students with doctoral degrees have successfully graduated within the specified time, and 7 international students with advanced training have completed their studies, and the graduated students have worked in various departments such as government agencies, universities, large enterprises, and banks. At present, the size of international students has been stabilized, and the ratio of instructors to students is 1:4. In terms of curriculum construction, the international advanced curriculum system is introduced in the teaching of international students, and advanced teaching methods and approaches are adopted to significantly improve the teaching level and enhance the overall teaching level of international students.
